Brazilian Pantanal
The Brazilian Pantanal is a seasonally flooded wet land it is an increadible place to see wildlife. Some of these images were taken in Bonito but by far most were take at Fazenda San Francisco. We stayed there for 5 days and went on different boat/canoe trips, horse back riding, walking and night tours. Their guides are very good and work hard to help people see wildlife. Below enjoy some of the images and video we captured.

This was at the entrance to the Fazenda San Francisco compound. There was capybaras and yacares swimming here.

During a night safari at Fazenda San Francisco we were fortunate enough to see a jaguar on the side of the road. He stayed for 5 to 10 minutes for pictures.

Both these pictures are uncropped. We were so close we could not fully zoom in with our telephoto lenses.

These were extremely cute as they cuddled.

These bright blue and yellow Macaws came to be fed at Fazenda San Francisco.

We captured these near Bonito. They are very big and multi-colored making them spectacular.

Saw this small macaw eating fruit while walking on board walk at Fazenda San Francisco.

They were actually upside down.

We got this image of an adult and 2 juveniles near Bonito but thses birds were everywhere.

Taken during night safari at Fazenda San Francisco.

We saw these all through our travels in Brazil.
